We'll kick off the year by covering some basics and having some fun! This is our third session. Members and their guests may join for any and all of these sessions--no need to attend every session. The aim is to share knowledge with newbies or provide a refresher for experienced calligraphers.  For the first half-hour, participants are invited to share work done since the last session. Once that's done, we'll cover lettering concepts: 1) by request, we'll review the techniques for spacing that were covered last time; then 2) we'll go over as many variations as we have time for - double-stroked/bounced/curved/angled; 3) We'll leave time to create a model  of a very easy one-sheet book, which those attending may want to make as their own quick reference for techniques they want to remember.

This session will be led by Kristi Darwick. We keep these Study Group sessions casual, and for that reason, they are not recorded.
