Romans Study Group (Member-led)

Last month, we worked through simple broad-edged Romans. This month we'll refine them and may have time to start with a few variations. We'll work with walnut ink and will touch on a few other favorite writing fluids

This session will be led by Kristi Darwick. These Study Group sessions are not recorded.

SUPPLY LIST 

• General calligraphy supplies
  
• Practice Paper: such as, graph paper—8 squares per inch, layout/marker paper, printer paper, computer print-out paper, or whatever paper you prefer for writing with ink. 
•  Straight holder
  
• Favorite writing fluid, such as walnut ink, gouache, Bister, or fountain pen inks.

I’ll also be demoing at 1/2” tall - you may choose to write at that, or choose different nibs and work at a different size:

Nibs: Speedball C3, Brause 2mm, Mitchell 2.

Optional:

Lightbox if using opaque paper.
