WORKSHOP IS FULL. WAITLIST NOW CLOSED
ABOUT THE SERIES: We will be starting our workshop on Roman Studies with a serious look at the proportions of these beautiful majuscules. These letters have been immortalized by many throughout the ages and are considered one of the most important styles to master.
Once this is understood, then we can start to “break some rules” and use them as our building blocks to develop further patterns such as squaring off Monoline tips and trying pointed pen nibs for great textures. We’ll have several exercises to explore for some exciting page designs.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
We will make Padlet available for sharing work for critique, as well as with fellow students. Recordings will be available for two months after the close of the series.
